Patxi's Pizza Hayes Valley

Paxti's is not a good choice for vegans anymore. The soup was tasteless, the pizza underwhelming, and the salad had unpleasant, overripe black pieces in it. On the other hand, there's a place just two blocks away that offers completely vegan pizza, and it's absolutely delicious! Trust me, you should go there instead. I tried it today and can confirm this for the community. I'm glad I did!

The deep dish pizza here is indulgent, creamy, and generously sized. If you're looking for authentic deep pan pizza, this is the place to visit.

The deep dish pizza was amazing! We completely underestimated how great it would be, so we ended up ordering one for everyone. Fortunately, we only got the deep dish, which we all enjoyed, and we took the regular pizza home for breakfast.

About a decade ago I would get paxtis vegan pizza quite often and it was pretty good. they used daiya at the time, and much of what I liked. the last time I ordered that they were turned to what seemed like the cheap tj’s Daiya-****-off and it was quite incessant. not the worst, but I wouldn't order again. I prefer to order from vegan places anyway so that they have not touched with gloves and messes that have ham and salami on my pizza.

We ordered from home, it took pretty long to arrive but boy was it worth the wait! The pizzas were incredible. I just wish they would put vegan 'meat ' on their pizzas.
