Muracci’s Japanese Curry Grill

I’m shocked that Muracci’s doesn’t have a higher rating! We heard about this while watching a YouTube video on what to do while visiting San Fran and I’m so happy we were recommended this.<br/ We ordered a chicken Katsu Curry and a classic Katsu Curry total cost was $32 (including tip).<br/ <br/ The sauce comes on the side and you can pour it over and can decide how much you want! I had mild and my partner had medium, I didn’t think the medium was much spicier than the mild.<br/ <br/ This is a great hole in the wall place, but there isn’t much seating so plan to take yours away or be prepared to wait for a seat!

Went with a co worker for lunch and the line was pretty long which is standard for most places in the FiDi during lunchtime. We both had the chicken katsu with curry (medium spicy). We both commented that we could've gotten the hot but the heat comes as an aftertaste. Trust me on that one! Overall if you're looking for something quick, and moderately cheap I would check this place out! Note: there is not really seating available it's more grab and go!

The San Francisco location is pretty tiny. It’s pretty much a togo place but there are about eight bar seats if you are in a bind. I came here for a togo order after work so i wasn’t too worried about seating. I wanted to get the Beef Curry and a side of the Curry Pan (or curry bread) but there were sold out of both. Pretty disappointed I ordered the Chicken Curry hot (spice-wise). My disappointment was quickly relieved once I started eating the scolding hot and spicy curry. You really can’t even taste the meat so getting chicken, beef or something else doesn’t even matter. It just adds a little extra texture to the super awesome curry.

We spent the last vaca day roaming around downtown SF. It was a weekday, so I wanted to stop in a place that is typically for the salaryman. I definitely wanted to check out Muracci's , which specializes

Muracci’s is one of those places where you walk in, you get greeted warmly by the folks behind the counter, and just feel very comfortable in.
