Contribuiți la feedbackGreat ambience and very affable service. The food was fresh and delicious. Will definitely recommend this restaurant to others. Convenient prices and generous portions. Great job.
We went to this place on labor day and honestly it was a very bad experience. It took an hour to have my food ready (the place wasn’t that crowded) the food was not good, the edamame tasted like fish the roll was bad and the teriyaki chicken was bad as well. Kind of pricey for the quality I honestly don’t recommend this place.
Don't go here the Noddles are not ramen noodles their pasta Noddles ,
The following review reflects my experience prior to the shelter in place order currently in effect. I'm sure I'll be hit with a lightning bolt for writing this, preferably in anime, but I have a confession to make: I don't think Japan Center really has too many standout eateries. With that divulged, I can also state I'm willing to take my chances when it comes to my peeps. Especially after this pandemic defines what our new normal will be. But back when the old normal defined our dining standards, Jamie W. and I happened upon Mifune for a reasonably good meal of Japanese standards. Through a couple of remodels, it's been around in the West Mall for a while. Jamie has his favorites and went for the $14.80 Chicken Katsu Curry Rice because who doesn't like Japanese curry and deep fried breaded chicken cutlets (photo: It was a pretty standard workaday meal but definitely checked the boxes. My order was the more elaborate $16.80 Sukiyaki Nabe where they provided pieces of ribeye steak in a soup filled with nabe noodles, fishcake slices, enoki, Napa cabbage, carrot and green onion (photo: For all the bells and whistles, it was not quite the comfort food extravaganza I was hoping it would be but I liked the effort. FOOD 3 stars...solid workaday Japanese dishes AMBIANCE 3 stars...pre pandemic, a comfort food spot, no frills SERVICE 3.5 stars...the servers were polite and dare I say, pretty TOTAL 3 stars...Mifune by any other name RELATED Looking in Japantown? Here's a collection of places I've visited and reviewed:
