Mel's Drive-in - San Francisco

It's a great old fashioned dive dinner. It's a bit price but the food makes up for that.

We were there the evening of 12/23 and they seemed short-staffed. But the food was served quickly and was delicious.

This bustling restaurant offers more than just your standard breakfast options. The food was delicious. I opted for the biscuits and gravy (a rare find in Australia!), and thoroughly enjoyed them. The staff were friendly and attentive.

This was my favorite restaurant that we visited. Our server, an older gentleman, was very funny and witty. It was a delight to dine there. The prices were reasonable compared to many other places in the city. The food was delicious and satisfying. I also enjoyed the retro atmosphere and the jukeboxes. This would definitely be my top choice when visiting San Francisco.
