Nice dinner, friendly staff, will be coming back. The veal's alright, the chicken very good, the linguine with clams very good, caprese was good, desert very good. Liked the ambience, old fashion.

If the rack of lamb is one of the specials, don't hesitate to visit Marcello's! Other standout dishes include the escargot, shrimp-stuffed avocado, halibut, and garlic bread. Make sure to come hungry and leave happy, and maybe even make some new friends while enjoying a martini at the bar, which has a cozy atmosphere reminiscent of your favorite neighbor's mantle back home.

Marcello’s is my favorite Italian restaurant in San Francisco. It is a family tradition to go there every year and it never disappoints. All of the servers and employees are always so kind and they make you want to keep coming back.

Wow! This restaurant is authentic! The owner, Marcelllo, is very friendly and accommodating. The food is amazing - when you order dinner, it comes with soup, antipasto, and of course your main dish. My family has been going there twice a month for the past 20 years. We love it.
