La Mar Cebicheria Peruana

This is a fantastic spot for a gathering with colleagues! The staff was helpful with the wine selection, although some of the desired bottles weren't available. The food was excellent, as always. We tried several new items from the menu, and they were all wonderful. It consistently impresses, though it can be on the pricey side.

Unfortunately, we were not happy with our experience at the restaurant. The waiter forgot to serve our wine, and we had to remind him about it. We wanted to share our food, but the large plates we ordered were difficult to manage on our small table, which made things messy. The noise level was also quite high. I also have to take responsibility for not checking the bill before we left; afterward, I noticed it seemed high, and my children agreed. It's a shame because we had a good experience the first time we visited.

The food was fantastic! The grilled octopus appetizer is an absolute must-try. Just a heads up, when they offer you bottled still or sparkling water, each is $7. If you prefer tap water, make sure to specify that.

I took my team to dinner for a great meal before they started a week of intense work and we had amazing service, fantastic food and I have been told that Peruvian is now their new favorite.

Super overpriced for the quality and quantity of the food. Weird fusion dishes that honestly didn't make sense. Environment was nice though, and servers were great. If you just want to get drinks by the bay, go for it—the sour drinks are good, but save your money and go somewhere else for a meal that is satisfying and won't break the bank.
