Good Mong Kok Bakery - San Francisco

Good, but not great dim sum. Cha siu bao was good, but under-filled and slightly dry. The youtiao was fresh and delicious. The scallion pancake was disappointing. Worth a stop if you are in the area, but not worth going out of your way for.

Came here because it has really good reviews. There is always a line outside and we got here around 4:30pm and they were mostly out of everything. Definitely recommend to come early in the day if you want more options. The ladies do not speak much English so if you speak cantonese it helps. Felt like they were yelling at me the whole time.

There was a super long line that continued outside of the shop into two sections. The line moved fairly quickly but be prepared to wait around ten minutes. I was pretty disappointed with the shrimp dumplings; they were bland. The BBQ pork bun was pretty good. Make sure you bring cash or they will charge you extra.

If there is a line, it must be good! Everyone I come to this bakery there is a line, early or late in the day. Everything I’ve had here makes my mouth happy my tummy happy dance. The price is super fair, service is good friendly. Cash is king, but they do accept cards with an additional cost. Get some items take it home, park or wherever and enjoy.
