I finally tried it for lunch (and liked it enough we've gotten takeout again since . Since we were getting lunch, I suggested we go for the wraps. The wraps were good! So apparently those and hummus are the things to order. We really enjoyed both the chicken shawerma and the mosakhan (chicken with onions, sumac, and pine nuts . The wraps were really well constructed (a key quality I look for in handheld meals so were easy to eat without making a mess, even the mosakhan which was surprisingly juicy. Proportion of ingredients was great, and I also like that the wrap is grilled so the outside is crisp to provide good contrast to the soft innards. We like to share so it's very convenient that the wraps come cut in half already. While I wouldn't say the hummus is the best I've had, it's certainly pretty good and conveniently close to us. The olive oil pita with spices is interesting. We also got the lamb schwarma for one of our meals and it was fine but chicken is really the thing to get here. Which shouldn't be a surprise considering chicken is in the restaurant's name haha. (And speaking of the name, yes, that is indeed 3 o's in Goood.
My friend and I came here while waiting in line for our table at The Front Porch. I had had Falafel Boy's falafel earlier that day and was a little underwhelmed so came here hoping for a pick me up. First off all we mistook this restaurant for a fried chicken/Mediterranean establishment (funny combo to say the least) but it turned out to not serve fried chicken. I was able to specially a request a side of 2 falafel and pita. They were both warm and fresh. The falafel was a little undersalted in my opinion but was still a solid appetizer. The pita was also good!
Do you have a new location ?! It's my favorite restaurant, the chicken , the shawarma, and the kunafa were the best
I got delivery from them and it did not disappoint. Portions were generous and food was amazingly tasty. I'm not sure what they use for the seasoning, but I approve. The rice, pita bread, and garlic dip were my favorites. I love how middle eastern food is well balanced. Delicious and nutritious. It had a generous portion of salad and tomato on the side, unlike some other types of foods that give you 5 pieces of carrots. In this meal, you get your veggies, carbs, and meat and do not need to sacrifice taste.
Underrated. I see people on here rating this place based on the Shawarma, Falafel, and baklava deeming it below average but it's called GOOD FRIKIN CHICKEN... So...cluck cluck. My go-to is the Open flame or Rotisserie chicken with a side of thick Mac and cheese and DO NOT forget the olive oil pita and garlic sauce!! I could bathe and scrub with that garlic sauce and I will die a very happy woman!!
