El Tonayese Taqueria - San Francisco

There's nothing special about this taqueria that is located near 24th and Shotwell in SF. The place is kinda grimy and dingy. Food is okay, service is slow and the prices are not the best either.This place only works well if you got a good beer buzz going and just want to satiate a taco craving, otherwise you are better off going around the corner to the lady street vendor who sells pupusas.

Never order DoorDash. They give you 1 tiny cup of salsa every time, even if you ask for more or PAY for extra chips and salsa.

Best chorizo burritos in the city, try the Excelsior location too.Food: 5/5

I guess the meat burritos are ok but the veggie burritos are the worst in the Mission. Mostly rice and lettuce. No avocado. Went back and asked them to remake it and it was still pretty tasteless. This place used to be good but has gone downhill.
