Contribuiți la feedbackI consider myself a hardcore fan of Chinese Mala spicy food, but unfortunately, this restaurant served me the worst tasting spicy chicken I have ever had in the Bay Area. The noodles were only half cooked, the chili was burned and charred, and the chicken was not juicy at all. The overall quality of the food did not match the price they were charging. In terms of cleanliness, the chopsticks were extremely dirty, so I would recommend bringing your own utensils if you plan on dining there. Overall, I found this restaurant to be overrated, especially by American Asian YouTubers. The service was bad and the food, although visually appealing for Instagram, did not satisfy my taste buds.
In search of delicious noodles, we decided to give this restaurant a try. Unfortunately, we found that the noodles lacked sufficient flavor, leading us to question whether the establishment was more geared towards tourists than authentic cuisine. One disappointment was that the Wandou Mian dish, which typically features yellow peas, instead included chickpeas. Additionally, the broth in both dishes tasted primarily like plain water with chili oil, resulting in upset stomachs for the rest of the day. To add some flavor, I requested Laoganma and vinegar, as I couldn't discern any flavor in the broth. On the upside, the BBQ squid was excellently seasoned and the service was prompt. The portions were generous and the presentation was appetizing.
Great authentic chinatown food experience. Not a fancy tourist-restaurant, but very authentic place. We had beef noodle soup, bbq scewers and spring rolls. Very very tasty, big portions and very affordable. Quite spicy, just like we like it.
Stumbled upon this place by chance when visiting San Francisco’s Chinatown. The food were really good! The Chongqing spicy beef tendon was one of the best Chongqing style beef tendon I have had in the States. The noodle bowl was also great! The portion was huge and it came with a huge beef rib.Atmostphere wise, it is small typical of places around SF Chinatown and service was great! Price was reasonable for San Francisco especially for the huge portion
We had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. We waited for about 50 minutes without any explanation or estimated wait time. The takeout order we received was a mess, with sticky and tasteless Wuhan noodles and no soup in the Wuhan Noodle Soup. The beef was tough and cold. Despite only three people dining in, all customers had to wait 50-60 minutes for their food. The quality of the food has declined, and we observed only one cook in the kitchen, multitasking with washing dishes and cooking. We were also alarmed to see the cook touching meat with his dish gloves on. The restaurant and restroom were dirty, raising questions about their adherence to health standards. It is evident that there are management issues at play, as takeout orders took precedence over dine-in customers. It is a shame to see a once-loved establishment in such disarray.
