Brenda's French Soul Food

PHENOMENAL. My partner and I were just looking for breakfast places and this one happened to be near our hotel. When we arrived, the place was already packed, but we were seated in under 10 minutes. I expected to wait 30-40 minutes for food because of howbusy the place was, but we had our food in 15 minutes. The service was spectacular and they continually topped off our beveragesand ensured we had everything we needed. In addition to the incredible service and atmosphere, the food was legendary. The menustands out from other places in their variety of unique and delicious food choices. Everything we ate or drank was a bit uniqueand incredibly tasty. 10/10 would recommend; in fact, I recommended the place already to friends, and I plan to visit much morefrequently once I move to the area.

I give this rating based on my husband?s reaction and those sitting around me! My husband said he thought he was in New Orleans the food was so good. I watched a man lick his fingers and go on and on about the fried chicken, macaroni and cheese and greens!The restaurant itself was not the best looking, but continually crowded. The surrounding neighborhood I would say was suspect atbest.

Absolutely delicious. Food was great. Im southern so I know grits but I never had grits like these. So creamy and even after refrigerated and warmed back up they were amazing and without lumps. The Biscuit just melted in my mouth and the strawberry jamwas amazing. I would of course return and order doordash too. This is a place to visit.

Great place, awesome service and nice people running the show. The eatery is cozy although in a very shady kinda surrounding but once you are in this is a very nice place. Prices are reasonable.
