Upper Cut - San Francisc

Here for UCSF visit, and went to Spark Social food truck center for a quick bite.This one hit the spot for a quick small bite (sliders and fries). Sliders were very good, and fries were normal. Not the cheapest but could be worse. Overall it worked for us.

The crispy chicken sandwich was just okay. The house sauce is the best part of the sandwich and there wasn't nearly enough. The fried chicken was bland, but sufficiently crispy. Not a terrible price and Spark Social always has a nice ambience.

Believe it or not, this is the most healthy brisket dish I ever had from a food truck.Upper Cut is located in the Sparks Social area near the Mission Bay Hospital area. Free street parking is not possible... but there are paid lots everywhere in the area.Today I decided to get the Brisket Bowl, Full size. $25 You get sliced lean brisket with Grilled Veggies and steamed broccoli over a bed of brown rice.The brisket was smokey and tender. I love the nuttiness of the brown rice, The rice absorbs the flavors from the veggies, The bowl is sweet and a bit of spicy from the jalapenos. Not sure how it can be nutty, smokey, spicy and sweet at the same time. The only thing I would have liked is a bit of fat, that I expect from brisket.The cost of the dish is a bit high for what you get.

We visited Spark Social and tried this food truck for the first time. Everything we ordered were great and tasted fresh. The fried was the best one I have ever had. We also love the sliders as well. Prices are reasonable!
