Total Meltdown - San Francisc

I was shocked at the prices when seeing the food that was handed to me. It was a kid sized grilled cheese, and the dipping sauce they add tastes like canned tomato soup but spicier. Minimal flavor. The bread they used were tiny little slices and were not anything crazy in my opinion. A good grilled cheese needs quality bread, fresh cheese, and seasoning. I make a better one at home ? I suggest this place steps their game up or they lower their prices. I never leave reviews but the sandwich and the stuffed Mac balls were so disappointing for what I paid.

We got cheesemonger grilled cheese, Seoul Food mac and cheese, and cheesemonger melted cheesy potatoes. It was definitely different combo than I expected. The cheesy potatoes are crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside. The mac and cheese is average, I expected more kimchi flavor. The grill cheese was pretty good as well. I ended up saving half for meal the next day as the portion are pretty big since it is all heavy carb food.

I've enjoyed delightful brunches here. Great food, great coffee, great service. Totally recommend Total Meltdown!

3 stars for the mac bites, but the fried chicken mac and cheese I got wasn't as great as it could be. The chicken didn't taste seasoned and was tough to chew. Nothing about it really stood out to me. Just tasted like unseasoned and overcooked chicken was thrown onto some regular mac and cheese. It would be a great dish if the chicken had more flavor, and if the mac and cheese was more seasoned. I'd love to give this place a try again in the future. Service was great!
