No matter how many times you visit this store, you will always see new things to look at. Clothes, jewelry, oils, art, so many items to check out.

I visited hoping to find African spices. I really wish they offered a wider selection, as these aren’t easy to find in the city.

This store has become legendary over the years for offering authentic African art and clothing. Kudos to the iconic Horgon and Empress Judah for establishing this unique space in San Francisco, harkening back to the days in Hayes Valley. This is not a shop for cheap, mass-produced Afro goods made in China; they sell genuine, museum-grade artifacts that deserve to be valued like any other important artwork.

The service and atmosphere were incredible, and most importantly, the food was outstanding! My friend and I had a fabulous time; we enjoyed Heineken beer alongside fufu, tilapia, salmon jollof rice, and melon soup. Everything was superb—truly the best African food I've ever tasted, and I highly recommend it. Anyone who prepares such delicious food and makes me feel like a queen is 100% alright in my book!
