What does it mean if you receive a fortune cookie without a fortune? If you're coming from Honeymoon Island State Park, take a left into the parking lot at the intersection of Alt 19 and Causeway Boulevard. The Szechuan chicken dinner was fresh, delicious, and served hot when I got it home. The egg roll was also hot and perfectly cooked. The staff was friendly, courteous, and efficient.

I ordered the chicken with vegetables and white rice, and I was impressed by the variety of fried rice upgrade options available. The vegetables included broccoli, celery, pea pods, baby corn, a bit of red bell pepper, carrot, and mushroom. They seemed quite fresh, with the broccoli being particularly crisp. The sauce paired well with the chicken and vegetables without overpowering them, unlike in some places. I really enjoyed the meal and plan to come back to try other dishes. My wife had the Moo Shu Chicken, which came with a Ziploc of four wraps. She said it tasted excellent.

Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by a lovely couple who run the place, along with their polite children. The bourbon chicken here is simply the best I've ever had—better than what you'll find in malls! The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are excellent for the quality you're getting. I was so impressed with the chicken and black beans that I returned the very next day for more. I also tried the hot and sour soup, which was delicious! And let me clarify—this isn’t your typical chicken on a stick with fried rice; it’s far superior! While there's a decent place called Happy Wok down the street, this one is more convenient for me and has quickly become my favorite. As a Chinese food lover, I can't recommend it enough!

So happy we found New Bamboo! Had another local Asian place we'd been ordering from for years sadly, they went downhill. Took a chance on this one for the good reviews and location and we were not disappointed! Great tasting fresh food and prices, easy online ordering and was ready for pick up within 15 minutes. Will be back for more!

Best Chinese food I've found, period. The owners are great, the food is better. Try it..... you'll love it. Mike
