Merkado - San Francisc

It's hard to give a good review of this place because of the timing of when we went. We reserved brunch spots there for Sunday at 11 am before the baseball game nearby at 1 pm. They opened promptly at 11 am and told us their produce truck hadn't arrived yet, so we could only order guacamole and tacos. We ordered 2 cocktails and a generous order of guacamole. The guacamole was delicious, as were the drinks. I was just disappointed we didn't have other options. After we'd been there 20+ minutes, the produce arrived, but we had already decided to just eat at the ballpark. I know things can happen, but it would've been nice to be told ahead of time that hardly any food was available.

This restaurant has upscale delicious tacos, I love the carnitas. The home made salsa an fresh guacamole are sure to please. Our server was helpful and pleasant. We will be back Also try the French press coffee, so smooth and delicious

We love Merkado so when the opportunity to do a tasting menu for Valentine?s Day came up I knew we had to go. Everything was superb!

Excellent food with great service and an stunning decoration. Eating here is a delight for all the senses! My husband and I agree that it tastes as is call, as the delicious food of Mexican Market. ?? Merkado

Went here after a baseball game. They managed to keep up a high level of service even tho every table was full. The food is really good. Everyone was happy with every thing. The guac is a good portion for a table of 6 casual gauc eaters. The meats were fresh and tasty. I really liked the watermelon basil auga fresca. The habanero salsa has peanuts in it so heads up. I didn't drink but the tequila selection was vast.
