If I could give a 0 star I would in a heartbeat !! The owner is sooo rude.!! I went 2 months ahead ofMy event to reserve a cake for my daughters quince. He gave us a price and told us to come back 2 weeks prior to the event.. so I went back 3 weeks before my event and he told us to come back this Saturday because I needed to talk to the baker !! We’ll I show up and he literally tells me he can’t give me the price I had in mind and that I needed to bring the paper he gave me and that he didn’t have an employee to deliver my cake ! Giving me 10000&1 reasons why he couldn’t do it!!! Why waste my time!! Lelenita’s is not what it used to be !! Stay away!! Don’t waste your time nor money here !!!

My family has been buying cakes from here since I was in the single digits and I’m almost 40, they got the best guava cake in the Bay Area, the tres leche is too sweet for me but my family loves it too, I read some of the comments and I will say there was a time that I too felt the cakes I received were not so fresh, the sponge was a bit stale but for the past 3 yrs now all the cakes I’ve bought have been to die for, this coming from someone who gets a cake because it Monday and why not lol the attitude eh don’t be so touchy, when you come here he’s straight forward and it depends on the weather hahaha so just buy your cake and enjoy it, get you some espumillas or rosquillas and call it a day. I also suggest their Pío quinto and sopa borracha, worth a try

Love the tres leches, guava empanadas, and flan. Everything is great, but those are my favs. Guava cake is good but hasn't been on point since covid. When I spoke to the owner about it, they had to change the recipe (ingredients) due to price inflation. I think they are considering going back to how it was made originally, even if the price goes up a bit.. i am A OK with that. Give me my nice, delicious guava cake back! Regarding the Customer service reviews... customer service is OK, in owners defense, the line can get long and there is only one person working the front so I understand that it can be stressful. Some people are undecided on what to order and if not rushed a bit, u could be standing there for 10 mins waiting for them to make up their mind. When in a hurry, I appreciate the sense of urgency to get the line moving. Hopefully they hire some help in the front.

HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. The tres leches cake was GROSS! It was obviously frozen and defrosted so the texture was off—and did I taste a hint of lemon in it?! WEIRD. Honestly, Whole Foods and Safeway makes a better tres leches cake! Ungrateful unfriendly service. This Latina will go elsewhere when she gets a craving for a 3PM 3leches!
