Bodega Sf - San Francisc

First time trying this upscale Vietnamese restaurant. Started with fried smelt, decent, could have been more crispy. Garlic noodles had great flavor but noodles seemed a little soft, maybe just a personal preference but a little more bite would be an improvement. The standout dish was the prawns with fried rice. Grated salted egg over the top added a really interesting texture and richness. Very cool spot, would definitely return.

I ventured to Bodega San Francisco last week, a busy and trendy restaurant serving Northern Vietnamese cuisine. I ordered the Banh Cuon (Fresh Pork Rice Rolls), and the Bo Tai Chanh (Seared Filet Mignon), both of which were delicious. If you're looking for something new and exciting to try, I recommend Bodega San Francisco!

The Pho broth was so so salty. We went for dinner, and they didnt have pho on the menu but had a mini pho off their menu. Other dishes were okay but a bit pricey. If ur looking for a fancy viet place around downtown, this might be the place.

Great food, ambiance and service. If you come by yourself of in a party of two the bar is an excellent choice. You can get great recommendations from your bar tender. The entrance of fried fish is delicious.I also loved the jade scorpion beer, it has a very nice and not overwhelming pepper flavor.

Ok. The food was really quite good. Wine too! However they used far too many types of lighting fixtures and wood textures in the restaurant design. Octopus tomato salad was fantastic. Pay attention to how many different lighting fixtures and wood types used in the establishment.
