Voltaire Beach House - San Diego

Great local spot, dog friendly, good food. Love the specials/happy hour most days of the week, like the 3 sliders and a beer for $10 on Mondays, and tacos for $2.50 on Tuesdays.. These are the reason I keep coming back :

Great spot to get some good grub and catch a Padres game! Bartenders are great and very personable and friendly. Even the one bartender that is a Atlanta Braves fan will still put on game you want to watch if asked. Good spot to watch football as wellall fans are welcome Chargers fans dominant even after move to LA.

On vacation and this was a great stop. Got the not so skinny dip and Red Ale on tap. Trivia night host was fun and our bartender was absolutely fantastic, made my friend a custom drink that was out of this world. If your in OB, you don't want to miss thisplace.

It was great till I watched the cook come out of the kitchen to ask the server a question and had ranch dripping down his cheek and chewing a mouthful of food. Great he is eating while cooking my food no thanks not eating here unsanitary condition. Doyourself a favor come for the drinks and atmosphere not the food not safe

I have enjoyed a tasty burger at this restaurant a few times. They likely serve the classic Beyond Burger, although I remember there being a black bean option at one point. I appreciate the bar seating, especially when it's not too crowded. The staff are friendly and provide good service. I am intrigued by the jackfruit item I saw someone post about in 2019, but unfortunately, it's not currently on the menu. As some have mentioned, their vegan choices are limited compared to other nearby bars, but having some options is better than none.
