Urbane Cafe - San Diego

Just missing the gorgonzola from my Keto Cobb but other than that, it was so delicious!!!! This was my first ever experience with Urbane Cafe and I still give it 5 Stars because everything was made with FRESH ingredients just the way I like it and it was so yummy!!!!

The Santa Maria BBQ is my go to order here, but the ahi salad is also excellent! Always fresh, and the Japanese chili dressing is flavorful without being overly spicy.

This place checks all my boxes: the lower bread is not so tender and drips when I put in the sandwich that my shirt does not have to insert into the experience, the upper slice is not over an out-center lump of meat, the spices are not crushed and randomly injects in the general vicinity of the sandwich, they have not missed the sandwich completely with their piece of cheese or tomatoes. It's a good place for sandwiches. They have options that not only ham and cheese, and they do not automatically throw onions and diced tomatoes and a piece of lime on everything (which is much more common than I in the area of San Diego). Perfect place if a sandwich is what you want and not a full meal.

We tried to find a place that the whole family would want, which is almost impossible. Urbane Cafe hit it out of the park. Your bread is made perfection. The atmosphere is bigger than the building. I highly recommend it.

The first time and I ordered the Cilantro chicken and it was amazing!!! The freshness of ingredients, the balance of taste/the amount of dressing and the clean and open space is only at point. Very recommended for a fast, fresh and healthy lunch. ?
