Extremely shady business practises, truly unbelievable. This “hotel” is run like a skeezy nightclub, the type of club where they would over-serve you only to wait until you passed out so that they can run your credit card and steal your money.Although that’s a simile, here is a real example of what they do. If you book through Airbnb and leave anything but a positive review, they will send screenshots of your “texts” to Airbnb customer service so that your review won’t be posted on account that your “texts” violate Airbnb harassment policies. The only issue is that these “texts” are from a fake number and are sent in an attempt to impersonate you. The fake texts that they try to pass off as coming from you will say something along the lines of “Unless you give me a full refund I will leave a horrible review on your space”. Therefore the fake communication will violate Airbnbs policy because it appears that you are trying to extort the host, and when Airbnb sees your negative review based on your REAL experience, they assume that you only wrote that review because the hotel wouldn’t give in to your (AKA their) extortion attempt. In other words, your negative experience didn’t actually happen and your review is only a result of not offering you a full refund. Because of this, Airbnb will delete your honest review. This is CRIMINAL FRAUD being committed by The Keating hotel towards its guests and Airbnb.DO NOT SUPPORT THIS RACKETEERING ESTABLISHMENT.They have been reported to the BBB.
Horrible place there were dead rats under the bed. My wife found them we complained to the GM he said oh my God I 'll be right up he sees the three dead rats and says housekeeping is so bad we only allow 1 dead Rat per room wow really?
Please by any means do not stay here.We paid 1,400$ for 7 days (200$ a night) and for that price there are many other better alternatives for the same price! Such as the Hard Rock Hotel and AC Gaslamp Hotel. We chose to stay here because it looked like a beautiful modern and industrial condo. The Keaton hotel on the outside is a beautiful looking historic building. When we got to the hotel we were greeted by a sloppy thrown together room. Dark stain on the bathroom walls, leaking sink, and a blind that would get stuck. A queen bed which was really 2 full beds pushed together, lumpy pillows and blankets and slow repair and service accommodations. It took a whole day each to deliver us a TV remote to our room and to fix a blind that wouldn’t roll down.No room service available. You had to bring the dirty linen down yourself as well as grab extra soap and towels. On top of this there is no direct phone number to call anyone and you must chat online for check in and support. If all you care about is being directly across the street from bars and don’t mind loud noises at night and loud staff you will enjoy your stay…
I had a very comfortable stay. Couldn’t ask for a better location in downtown and the rooms are different in a refreshing way. The staff was tremendously helpful and did so in a timely fashion. I plan on busting again soon and if so I’ll be keeping this hotel on my list.
