The Taco Stand - San Diego

The restaurant serves fresh, homemade corn tortillas that are large, thick, warm, and tasty. The tortillas absorb all the good juices and are perfect for their seafood tacos, which are really good. I tried the Baja, grilled fish, and grilled shrimp tacos, but the Baja and grilled shrimp were amazing and I would definitely come back for them. The grilled shrimp had a nice bite to them, although I was a bit disappointed that they weren't spicy. The seafood is really fresh and the flavors are great. The al pastor taco was okay, but not as good as the seafood options. The fries are amazing - super crispy and fresh. The California burrito is huge, filling, and tasty. The flour cake is delicious, chewy, and warm with grilled cheese. The burrito also had some great fillings that made it amazing. The churros were also amazing - fresh, warm, and chewy. I would definitely come back again, although it is a bit on the expensive side. The churros come in orders of three. The salad bar is well-organized and all the options are fresh and delicious. The chipotle sauce was supposed to be hot, but it didn't have much spice. The green Verde sauce was a bit too watery for my liking. The Zilantro sauce (medium heat) was amazing. The pico de gallo and guacamole were all super fresh. The restrooms were clean and the employees were really nice.

While in the San Diego area, we were recommended to try this restaurant. We did, and it was good. The only downside was the difficult parking situation, as the restaurant is located in a residential area. We tried their shrimp tacos and California burrito, along with a variety of sauces to choose from. Overall, it's a must-visit spot for Mexican food lovers.

My friend and I decided to grab a quick lunch and we tried the chicken tacos for the first time. Wow! They were incredibly delicious! The salsa and guacamole had just the right amount of spice. The staff was friendly and efficient, and the restaurant was clean and tidy. We sat on the cozy outdoor terrace under the warm sun. I highly recommend this place.

Tacos are large and in charge. So yummy. Will definitely come back!

Best tacos I’ve ever had. Small shop, with a long worth the wait line. Indoor seating is limited. While waiting, you can watch the staff make the Tortilla batter. So many items to choose from. Tacos, burritos and deserts. Everything home made. The condiment station is monitored frequently for replenishment and cleaning.Staff was patient and hardworking. They sit the bar high.
