The Dubliner Irish - San Diego

Dublin Square Irish Pub was the first to visit on my list of pubs around San Diego. Dublin Square is located in the centre of the Gaslamp district, just a few blocks from the Congress Centre stop. So you might avoid $30 parking and just pay $2,50 to take the train and try some Irish pub food. I ordered her fish and chips and loved her. They were baked with a panko crust and paired with thick frits. The fish was very fresh, I think some of the freshest I had in fish and chips for years. I sat on the window and could watch people while I dinate in San Diego during a very nice day. I finished the meal with her flourless chocolate cake with fresh berries and raspberry sauce. Everything was very good and I wouldn't mind having the same thing again, although I really would like to try some of their soups when they sounded very original.

One of our favorite places every time we visit San Diego. The place is clean and the staff is very nice. Usually we order the shepherd cake and the English breakfast. Service is fast and their alcoholic drinks are so good! We definitely recommend this place!

This is the coolest joint to go have a bite to eat or a great drink! Great music Love the atmosphere that was old-fashioned pub!

I enjoyed the outside seats and people watching. The service was great and the beer was cold. The fish and chips were well made and I especially enjoyed the curry sauce.

Fantastic little spot, with a great atmosphere. They have a great happy hour and game day specials. It's in downtown San Diego so parking can be hit or miss. Service was attentive but not overly so. The food was good but not amazing, was very reasonably priced though and the drinks were strong. I'll be back for sure.
