Steak N Fries - San Diego

Solid entry into the world of philly cheese steak. I should preface my review by saying I only hand out five stars on rare occasion, pretty much if it's one of the best I've ever had, so a four star rating is really good in my book. I tried the standard cheese steak with American cheese and a side of fries I'd recommend Steak N Fries if you're in the area and like a good cheese steak. It was pretty good for the value, they didn't use cheesewiz, and the fries were traditional deli style fries. One of the things I liked the most about this place was the variety of cheeses available, most cheese steak operations don't give you a choice. The sandwich was a bit small for my liking, but I left satisfied overall and give this place my approval. I'll definitely be eating here again when I'm in Pacific Beach.

This is the first place I think of when I need a cheesesteak in San Diego. I come here the moment I get off the plane for lunch or dinner. The loaded cheesesteak is a California-take and it’s delicious.Food: 5/5

I guess I just never had a good cheesesteak. I always felt they were overrated and just okay at best. A friend suggested this place and I could not believe how much better they are than any other cheesesteak I've had in the past. I get the cheesesteak with wiz, onions, and jalapeños. It's incredible. I live across the street and never tired it but I ended up liking it so much that I've been back 3 times in the last 4 days. Really speaks volumes considering I never really thought I liked these kind of sandwiches. They really knock it out of the park here.Fries are perfectly cooked as well and the guy that I assume owns the place is very nice as well.

The best Philly you can buy an awesome price for excellence .There are no better fries in San Diego anywhere these are fresh and super delicious. Every meal made fresh and hotDon't hesitate. It will be your loss

Best customer service I have received in San Diego by far. One of the best philly steak sandwiches I have ever had as well. Fries were excellent with the steak and cheese on top as well.Food: 5/5
