Quality Taste Hot Pot - San Diego

We had a mixed experience at the restaurant. The waitress accidentally forgot to include one of our dishes in the order, but the waiter was apologetic and offered us a discount. We visited with our kids, but unfortunately, no water was provided for them. As for the food, it was decent, but not outstanding.

The Chinese food here is truly authentic and excellent. The prices are quite reasonable as well. We really enjoyed the clay pot rice and the dry pot!

I recently tried the House Special Pot and the Lamb Pot, and I must say, the broth was absolutely delicious! The sliced proteins were thin and tender, making each bite enjoyable. The intestines and pork ears were excellent, but I wasn’t particularly fond of the fish fillets or pork meatballs. I found the medium spice level to be quite mild, which was a nice surprise. As for the complementary iced tea, it was very light and unsweetened, which I appreciated. **Ambience: 5/5** The restaurant is large and spacious, with plenty of light and cleanliness. The decor is cohesive, featuring attractive wall displays that promote their dry pots. **Service: 5/5** The staff was friendly, and despite English not being their first language, they were super attentive. However, I did notice some delays with to-go orders, as several people arrived for pick-up and had to wait an additional 5 to 8 minutes. **Value for Price: 4/5** At $17 for an individual hot pot, it is on the pricier side, but it's definitely worthwhile if you prefer not to spend time prepping ingredients.

Great food and reasonably priced! Not the usual fare. Interesting dishes and friendly staff. We'll be back for more! We've been back several times. Always good! Back yet again! Delicious!

The quality worths 5 stars. Lots of meats in the meat pie. Overall, less oil in the rice stone pot. Recommended.
