Pitted Seed - San Diego

My boyfriend and I were looking for a place for a healthy late lunch, and I found this gem via a quick Yelp search! Walkable distance from my apartment with some outdoor seating, as well as some indoors. I got the If You Like smoothie and Umami bowl. They were both refreshing and just what I was looking for. The meal was surprisingly filling.

Gave this place a try for the first time. I really enjoyed this place. I got the sending noodles and opted to add beyond meat to it. I loved this dish. Tasted fresh and delicious. The veggies and the noodles. Love cold dishes at times and this didn't disappoint. Apparently there was suppose to have a sauce added and it was forgotten but I didn't even know that. One of the managers apparently saw my picture post and came and asked about it. And I was like I didn't. He said it's supposed to come with a sauce and apologizes it was forgotten. I was like it tastes great with out the sauce and now I can't wait to go back and try it again with the sauce. Friend for the loco and although flavorful seemed a little salty for me but I enjoyed it as well. He also opted to have the beyond meat added. Service was great. Yes they made a mistake by forgetting the sauce but was so minor and they realized it quickly and did offer a drink or a snack as an apology for the mistake. (didn't take them up on it as it wasn't a big deal to me and the noodles were great with out it Will I be back? Of course!!! Only problem will be do I get the noodles to try it with the sauce again or try something else? Decisions decisions!!!

I 'm so upset that I ordered and willingly paid 8 dollars for most watery smoothie I 've ever had in my life, NO ICE whatsoever, I honestly can care less that they charged me 8 dollars, if anything I thought oooo this is gonna be delicious but it 's like they literally just blended orange juice with the remaining ingredients-RIDICULOUS and never again, and during my 5 minute wait for her to blend juice and fruits together I thought oooo I 'm definitely coming back to try some food but no this smoothie left a bad taste in my mouth Response to Owner: Maybe try not calling it a smoothie if you add no ice and call it a fruit drink or try blending frozen fruit to avoid ice, over charging for that mess of a drink your business will not last! I can not keep quiet about a watery, bland, not in any way chunky, too-gritty, flavorless, vegetal drink! Please take my comments as helpful advice and fix your smoothies if you want to keep customers. For what you charge for a small I could have got a large at my regular place and it would 've been a smoothie-last time I try and give a local business a chance-shame!

The person working was nice but they were out of almost every bowl so we just got a couple of smoothies and left. I tried to use the restroom and was informed that it was closed because they were out of toilet paper. Seems like they are having supply issues
