My favorite sandwich shop! Their hours can be a bit inconsistent, as they sometimes close on days they’re supposed to be open. The service can be a little grumpy, but that won’t keep me away because the sandwiches are unbeatable—I've never found better in San Diego! The bread tastes homemade, and the meats are generously portioned. All the sandwiches are fantastic, but my personal favorite is the turkey avocado. The deviled eggs are also delicious, though they often sell out quickly!
The roast beef was outstanding. The sandwiches are enormous and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend this place!
Whether you're a LOCAL or a TOURIST (like my family and me), this is definitely a fantastic place to visit for a DELICIOUS and fresh meal.
The food here is fantastic! We're currently staying at Humphrey's, and it's just a short walk away.
