Maya's Gourmet Pizza - San Diego

I ended up having over a two hour wait for my bus to Los Angeles, so, I went for a walk and came upon this establishment.They had a special: two slices of pizza and a canned soda for $6.99The pizza was good!! The service was very friendly, and, since you choose your slices, you get your food fairly quickly.Except for me, everyone else who came had take out. They had six tables that sat 4 to 6 people. I was able to kill an hour of my bus wait time in comfort.This is a nice little place. My only concern was that my receipt said Miami Bar and Grill , not Maya 's Gourmet Pizza . No big deal.

So ordered the Hawaiian pizza with bbq suace and jalapeños, first off the pizza looks like a frizen pizza that was put in the microwave for 30 seconds and only fhe cheese melted half-heartedly,second the boss of this place ask us last minute if we were gonna eat the pizza here as i said yes he went to our pizza that was on top of a trashcan and grabbed each individual slice with his bare hand and put it on a wood board and the man is drinking on the job 10/10 never go here you will get sick

It says open online, I drove 30 minutes on Sunday they were closed... shady business operation.

First of all the cash register is full of receipts and completely dirty. The woman and the man handling the food are not wearing gloves. The man went from the cashier straight to handling the food right behind him without washing his hands. The woman would walk back and fourth the kitchen touch other stuff and go back yo handling the tacos without washing her hand. This place is DEFINITELY not sanitary what so ever.

Delicious al pastor burrito and the salsa was so good
