Knockout Pizza - San Diego

Great option when your friends and family don't want chain pizza. The 2 gentlemen that helped us were very nice.

There is one woman who works there who is nice. The owner is a piece of work and the pizza is garbage. I had heard such great reviews about this place that I was SORELY disappointed in what I got. The pizza crust was thin and dry as no other way to say it nicer. I've eaten better pizza out of a dumpster when I was homeless. Just saying

Ordered the BYO calzone with pepperoni sausage, this is nothing like a calzone, first off it didn't have no meat in it just feta cheese and mozzarella and more feta then anything ..... the only thing that was good was the sauce

The place is disgusting and messy, the pizzas are left out too long and not cycled. The tables and floor look like a barn and are filthy. The wings weren?t cooked in our order properly, we threw them away. The pizza is good but not good enough to go back again. Worst part was Raul was really rude and grumpy. He shouldn?t be helping customers or working in a pizza restaurant if he hates his job so much so that he creates tension in the restaurant for customers and staff. Pray you don?t get Raul on the phone or deal with him in person. I?d rather eat bacteria filled pizza than deal with people like that. Very rude and disgusting human being. Personally I am staying away from this place. The other younger dude at the counter was awesome. The girl that worked there was also kind. Regardless of Rob, you can get better pizza and better ingredients elsewhere. You can also get better service but that goes without saying.

05/06/2022 I ordered the lunch special 3 slices and soda for $8.75. I got the meat bomb, pepperoni and pesto slices. The crust is thin and crunchy. The meat slices were a little greasy. The soda I got from the fountain machine tasted off. Like the fountain dispenser wasn't cleaned or the water needed to be filtered. There is indoors and outdoors seating. Located in a shopping plaza with an Aldi and other stores and restaurants. Decent sized parking lot. I would definitely come back for more slices. #cheapeats #nomadlife #stealthcamping
