Edgewater Grill - San Diego

The dish wasn't terrible, but I have to call you out for labeling it as crab chowder. There was barely a pinch of crab—less than a teaspoon—on top, which I initially thought was just a garnish. As I started eating, I realized that was all the crab there was. And aside from that, there was nothing else in the chowder—no celery, no carrots, nothing at all. For that, I'm giving it one star!

My wife and I had dinner there on New Year's Eve, and it was an incredible experience. We both ordered the sea bass, which was the best we’ve ever tasted. The service was exceptional, thanks to our server, Shelby. When we return to San Diego, this will definitely be our first stop. We couldn’t have asked for a better start to 2024!

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant, enjoying the fish and shrimp tacos, which were both delicious, along with a Brussels sprout appetizer. The beer on tap was also quite tasty. It's a great spot to grab a bite and relax with a drink.

Food was good, but I was disappointed they didn't have clam chowder.

Great view of the promenade and waterfront if you sit outside. Rather pricey but food and drinks were good. We went after the lighted boat parade and it was a fun stop.
