Cantina Panaderia - San Diego

I think that the Cantina is a great place to eat. The items you find on the menu are quite unique. If you have not tried this place for breakfast, I would really recommend you give it a try. We have been eating at Cantina monthly since it first opened and have loved it every time. The only down side is the parking, but hey...that's Pacific Beach. Hope you enjoy.

Overall, the food was great. Like there was a party in my mouth and everyone was invited. Varied cuisine from around the world (Asian, Latin, Caribbean flares) included noodle dishes, grilled fish and meat, and some good veggie picks. Be sure to check out the fried plantain appetizers w/ yogurt sauce. However, something was missing in the atmosphere. Maybe it was the lack of shape in the single large rectangle room or warmth on the sparse walls. I really like the place, but kind of worry that it will eventually tank.
