American Junkie - San Diego

The pricing at this restaurant is highly inconsistent. We received 2-for-1 cards before entering, but the first round cost $36, while the second round ended up being $50. We ordered the exact same items both times. It seems they have no clear understanding of how to handle their promotions.

Cool, typical American sports bar with good music, broadcasts of sporting events, good prices and delicious food. There was even happy hour for certain drinks until 7 p.m. Service was good. Can definitely recommend.

As a European tourist in San Diego (and a big Padres fan), I ate delicious chicken wings in this typically American sports bar and watched the Padres play a game. I can only recommend it and would come back anytime.”

1st time here and had the blackened shrimp tacos. They were more like shrimp fajitas but still pretty good. Nice selection of beer and not outrageously priced. A good clean restaurant, sports bar. Not my favorite 5th Avenue place, but far from the least favorite. Probably hit one more time before end of padre season. They don't open till 5 which is a little weird during baseball season.

Kind of pricey for me but I'll be honest, with the service and the atmosphere... It's worth it
