Locandona - San Cristóbal de las Casas

We were visiting the Museo Na Bolom, which was incredible, and stumbled into Locandona. We shared a beer or two and ordered the Scilian pizza. It is the best pizza we have had on Mexico. Add to that the music playing and the interesting conversation with the owner... he is from Sicily and speaks italia, Spanish and English and you end up with a place you don't want to miss.

I have already been here twice with friends and family and we loved it both times. The pizza is really great with really fresh ingredients priced fairly. What is really cool about this place is that it's off the beaten path located in barrio del Cerrillo which is on 5-10 minutes walking from the center. Located in a traditional colonial home that has a court yard with tables set up to enjoy outdoor dining. The owners are amazing showing a lot of love for what they do and it shows. By the way the pizza is better than el Punto, Napolli, or Piccolos and a better value.
