Bodegas Balcon De La Laguna

A lovely selection of white and red wines with complementary cheese and meats. The buildings have been very tastefully renovated, blending old and new very well. The use of French oak is lovely throughout.

We had a lovely afternoon at the winery with a nice tour. Then we had a lovely lunch there Wonderful vistas

The view is amazing from the restaurant, when it is not cloudy you can see the Teide. We tried the blue wine and the taste was amazing, the lady (camarera) offered us a glass of wine, which was the nr 1 best national wine of Spain! that was a nice gesture! But unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. It looked like the garbanzas where heated up, not fresh made, and the steak was horrible, it was very dry and it was just one big piece of fat. we did not ate this. Beside the food, there was a man all the time walking in the restaurant, i think it was a camarero, he had such a long face, he looked all the time very mad. he did not say hi or was friendly at all. Although we had a nice experience because of the fantastic view and the lovely wine, we will not return here. But thanks to the lovely lady, she was very friendly.
