Landers North Beach - San Clemente

The cutest place great service and food. Even great prices. The have an edgy cowboy vibe and there's even a dark and mysterious speakeasy in the back. This place has it all!

We love Landers!! It 's one of our go-to 's . Great burgers, excellent service, full bar and a gorgeous view of the sunset from the patio. What more can you ask?

So my GF and I have been coming here for years, starting then they still had the horse on top of the building. We have come to realize that the drinks are awful. They're thrown together with little attention to detail, and thus the taste suffers mightily. I have ordered the Cowboy drink maybe 5 times over 2 years, it is never the same. One time it is decent, the next I have had to return it. On the plus side the food is actually good. The Lander's burger is large, but excellent and the two-fish taco plate off the small plate menus was very tasty...excellently prepared. The service is very good as well.I think the problem is this place doesn't know if wants to be a bar or a restaurant. Given our experience with the drinks and food...we recommend they focus on being a restaurant.

The new Landers was a nice place when it first opened but now it’s really gone downhill. Something needs to change or this place is not gonna last much longer.
