Barnoa Wine Company - San Clemente

Monday to Friday they have Happy Hour Food Specials. The wine selection at the restaurant n Weinladen is excellent. The wines that the owner (Mike) recommended for both my Thanksgiving n Christmas dinners were perfect games for the turkey, geese n duck I served. You have monthly tasting party fun, n the New Year's Party was the best I was in Orange County. I recommend trying Barnoa.

Visited in April 2016 I am not much wine drinker, but the ambience was beautiful. Soft lighting, candles, comfortable seating. We sat near the entrance to their terrace (which also looked beautiful with string light twinkling) I enjoyed the prompt, polite, scientific service. There were many parking spaces and easy access to/from large routes. Although I'm not a wine drinker, the owner made sure that I had a drink that I would enjoy (champagne) We ate Bacon wrapped dates. They were well prepared and are definitely an appetizer NOT for a meal. (so order a meal if you are really hungry) I will visit CA next time!
