Contribuiți la feedbackLocation is nice, the place is clean and the service was friendly. But the food was terrible. My wife ordered salmon with vegetables. The salmon was so overcooked that it was bone dry. The vegetables also have so much boiled when you rest a fork on them... they would mix. I ordered lamb. Again cooked to total dryness and was like eating leather. No drop of juice in it. It was accompanied by cold frits. We mentioned all this to the waiter and he smiled and went away. We were first at 6 p.m., and I wonder if this was left from noon for food.
We were inspired from the beginning by the architecture and decoration of the building. Our waiter Ariel was very attentive and looked after us. The meal was delicious, and we were pleasantly surprised at the great price. I can come back before I go.
Both the service and the drinks were really good, in fact, I would say they were excellent, but the food is just so bad that I can't express it with words. The Goulash was literally the most blazing and tasteless meal I had for years. Maybe it's worth tasting your home beer or enjoying a glass of wine, but do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else.
What can I say, this hasn't been said yet. The service was super friendly, but the food was very much below average. The starter plate was okay, but too big. Our main course (we both had trout) was incredibly bland and dry. The vegetables that came with him were tasteless and overcooked. It seems to me that the Weiss family lives from their reputation, but does not provide quality anymore.
We arrived at 7:30 pm happy, thirsty and hungry. An abrupt welcome and request to understandably sanitize our hands started the experience. The cozy lodge feeling inspired us to order. Lovely rustic setting and great location. Good service and team work. Good WEISS beer. Nice...bread basket with a house pate.... a meh simple green chopped lettuce, tomato and onion salad was the first red flag. The food is 'tired '. Unevenly cooked uninspiring almost dry bonidola (pork) with shoestring fries and a sloppy plate of unevenly cook beef goulasch with mostly tough and tender bits and regret to say dense spätzle made with no love. If we had been hiking and ate at a refuge in the mountains maybe this cooking is satisfactory. The kitchen needs a refresh asap because the place has been around a long time and it was recommended to us personally. We skipped dessert because we opted to be safe to at least give 3/5 stars and leave not completely deflated. It 's such a lovely spot but just not up to par.
