Izzy's Steaks And Chops - San Carlos

Izzy's boasts one of the best atmospheres I've experienced. The place has a cozy, homey feel, thanks to its warm brown wood paneling and red velvet curtains. It also maintains a pleasantly quiet ambiance; I could easily converse with my party without anyone having to raise their voice. I ordered the prime rib, which turned out to be a bit dry. The famous scalloped potatoes and cream spinach were incredibly rich, so I would recommend steering clear of them unless you're ready for a large dose of cream. However, I found the asparagus and mashed potatoes to be a great pairing with the prime rib. The chocolate cake was exceptional and, like the other dishes, quite rich; if you're not a fan of chocolate without a glass of milk, I’d suggest opting for a different dessert.
