Cafe Grillades - San Bruno

I absolutely love this spot in my neighborhood! The savory buckwheat crepes are delicious! Their latte, cappuccino, and mocha—every coffee drink they serve—is bursting with flavor and tastes even better than Starbucks, in my opinion.

Absolutely fantastic! We enjoyed a delicious savory crepe and some delightful couscous. I appreciate their vegetarian and vegan options, as well as their use of halal meats, which caters to everyone's needs. We also indulged in the most amazing sweet crepe. The outdoor seating was great for us and our dog, and there was plenty of space available for lunch on a Saturday.

The menu features a diverse selection of French dishes infused with North African flavors, offering options for every meal from breakfast to dinner. While the salad greens were decent, they weren't the freshest. The savory goat cheese and date crepe I ordered felt a bit underfilled, with some bites predominantly containing buckwheat; however, it was light enough not to leave me feeling overly full. On the other hand, the cheese steak panini was outstanding—hot, gooey, and cooked to perfection. Though the crepe brulee was slightly on the sweet side, it was still very enjoyable, especially when paired with the scoop of gelato atop the warm crepe. Prices are on the higher side but still reasonable for the quality of the food. Overall, this place is definitely worth returning to!

This was my first visit to the restaurant. Our waiter was pleasant and knowledgeable. We ordered the Mediterranean salad with chicken (see photo). It was a decent salad, though not the best I've ever had. There are plenty of options on the menu, especially if you enjoy crepes! They also offer gelato. I’ll definitely return to try something different.

We didn't have to wait long to be seated on a Saturday morning. The food and drinks were great; the mocha was especially fantastic. We tried the savory baby spinach crepe, along with some scrambled eggs, veggies, and meat. Everyone enjoyed their meal. If you're in the area and looking for a quick but delicious brunch, I highly recommend this place.
