I just arrived from Europe where I tried Vietnamese food several times at different places and all were great and tasty I wanted to remember that experience and asked 3 Pho Bo soups for the delivery that was sent by Viet Restaurant terrible with most of the food raw and various tastes
I would recommend to try Viet if in the city and imagination some Vietnamese food, if you are only in Lima for a few days, I would suggest to leave it and find some Peruvian tradition instead. We had the sriracha wings, Pho Ba and pork noodle shell. The wings were incredible, a little sharp, but a good spice. The Pho was much better than I expected after I just came from Vietnam, but it had a little too much salt. The staff and the atmosphere were very good, the restaurant itself is modern, well maintained and clean.
I’m a Pho officinado... A self proclaimed expert of sorts. I make it at home. I eat it very regularly and I’ve gone to Vietnam twice to get pho right from the source. I was last in Vietnam in January. Since then I’ve been travelling through India, the Middle East, Central America and South America. I hadn’t had a bowl of pho since I left Vietnam and I was going through withdrawal. We had a number of days in Lima so I went looking for Pho. We went to Viet for lunch. My daughter and I both ordered Pho and my wife decided on the Banh Xeo. The Pho was excellent. It was close to authentic, very tasty and curbed my cravings. My wife didn’t love her Banh Xeo. She said it was a bit mushy on the top (as improperly cooked Banh Xeo tends to be). Anyway. It was a great meal for me. I highly recommend it, just stick with the soup.
I'm really pleased that I tried Viet while I was in Peru, I was a little hesitant as it's not the usual food but I was not disappointed!! I had been craving Pho and Viet delivered!! Highly recommended
