Tarka Indian Kitchen - San Antonio

The restaurant offers authentic Indian cuisine, perfectly accompanied by music that enhances the dining experience. The service is friendly, and the portion sizes are generous. My favorite item on the menu is the garlic naan bread!

Unfortunately, we didn't find our meals to be very satisfying. The kebab was tough and not made from a child-friendly type of minced meat. Additionally, the meat had a strong ginger flavor that overshadowed the other tastes. On a positive note, the vegan coconut curry with shrimp was quite delicious.

This is a great spot to experience Indian cuisine. The food was flavorful and well-seasoned, and the staff were wonderful. Having lived in India, I can say that while it's not traditional Indian food, it's close enough to be enjoyable.

Read good reviews about this place and remember to try it. I'd say it's not authentic Indian, but Indian. Even better than other restaurants that offer Bland Food. Total good experience. Recommended for the non-confusing menu and no ruffles decent food

Restaurant was clean and food was good. We ordered samosa chat, daal tadka and paneer mirch masala with garlic naan. Everything tasted fresh. Samosa chat was just average, didn?t had that tangy flavor. Dal tadka Mirch masala tasted good. Naan was so soft n fluffy but didn?t had any garlic flavor.
