Sukeban - San Antonio

I had a fantastic experience at this intimate sushi bar located in the Bluestar area. The atmosphere was wonderful and the service was excellent. I love discovering hidden gems like this for date nights and when I just need to escape. The food was delicious - I tried their Ramen bowl and sushi rolls. Didn't have any drinks this time, but I'll definitely consider it next time.

If you even remotely like sushi, this is the place for you! This restaurant has a little more of an upscale/industrial vibe that isn’t off putting for downtown San Antonio. Casual or special event, you will be satisfied with your meal! The sushi rolls range from $9 to $20+ and with the sashimi and nigiri there is something for everyone. We got the shrimp tempura and spicy dragon rolls and had to refrain from licking the plate!

The service was friendly and the atmosphere was lively. The fish dish was tasty. However, we were disappointed to find out that they were renewing their liquor license at the time, which slightly affected our overall experience. Despite this inconvenience, it was still a pleasant visit and I would recommend taking a stroll to check it out.

Intimate little sushi spot. Sushi is always fresh and delicious. Service was also very friendly. Totally recommend for true authentic sushi.

The sushi and nigiri were delicious. They have a good selection of wine and beer, but champagne pairing seems to be the best choice. I especially enjoyed the anime murals.
