Springhouse Cafe - San Antonio

On a positive note, the service was outstanding. When I briefly spoke with the staff making omelettes, I discovered they all had culinary backgrounds, which suggests that the management values the expertise of their team, or perhaps it was just a happy coincidence. Regardless of the season and the extensive selection, I expected a better experience given the premium cost. Basic quality assurance could have easily addressed these simple flaws.

Great spot for lunch! It wasn't crowded or noisy during my visit. Both the service and the food were exceptional.

The breakfast was typical of a standard hotel. It was buffet-style, which would usually be complimentary in embassy suites. We ended up paying S70 for two people.

A little late for our favorite breakfast / brunch menu, but the lunch offers are varied, plentiful and tasty. three salat choices were sufficient, the daily suppene selection is regularly rich and tasteful, the burger is a great leaner plough and large with bacon/cheese/beech/tomatoes, and the steak frries are exactly spiced and a perfect blend of soft center and crispy outside. also the grilled chicken breast of our gastes was pleasant. our server, patsy, was only present enough and helpful to respond to our asking. springhouse is a consistently excellent experience for us, even if Sunday brunch disappoints our omelet wishes after 11:30.

The restaurant offers a lovely, spacious atmosphere with outdoor seating available. I tried the huevos rancheros, and it was quite tasty—definitely more than I could finish by myself. They also have a buffet option.
