Sonic Drive-in - San Antonio

The service at this restaurant was excellent. My order was accurate, and they took the time to read it back to me for confirmation. If you go after 5 PM, be prepared for a wait of over 15 minutes in the drive-thru. They are understaffed, so patience is key. I highly recommend the popcorn chicken; it’s tasty and not excessively fried.

This restaurant has its ups and downs. At times, the food is really good, but other times it doesn't quite meet expectations. The service can be inconsistent as well; there have been occasions where I've had to wait much longer than I should have. It seems like they might be dealing with some internal issues, and I hope they can sort them out soon. I'll continue to visit as long as things don't get any worse.

I tried this place hoping for an improvement in both the food and customer service, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Every time I visit, the only option is the drive-thru, which is fine, but waiting over 30 minutes for cold food is simply ridiculous. Regardless of the circumstances, food should never be served cold or barely warm, especially when they aren't busy. It's so disappointing! I've lost hope since even my replacement order came out cold.

I ordered the 99-cent mozzarella sticks and we went through the drive-thru. When we reached the window, they informed us that they had just prepared a fresh batch for us. We requested barbecue sauce, but they initially said they didn't have any. However, before we drove away, they stopped us and offered us some they had in the back. The girl who helped us was incredibly sweet, and it was clear she went above and beyond to make us happy. I really wish I knew her name so I could give her a shout-out. You know who you are, and thank you for making our day! There aren't many gems like you out there.

Tea wasn't good at all plus you can only use the drive-thru driving up and down in the parking space pressing the button no longer works so yeah it's changed but not for the better
