Smokey Mo's Bbq - San Antonio

Incredible Thanksgiving meal! The turkey was juicy, and the stuffing was well-seasoned. I especially loved the flavor infusion from the bag used for the turkey! It's clear that they put a lot of thought and effort into their dishes, and we truly appreciate it!

I ordered through Uber and they forgot something from my order. The seasoning across all five of our dishes was lacking. The turkey and sausages were decent, but I won’t be ordering again. There was no garlic, chives, salt, or pepper used at all. You're located in the South—where's the flavor?

The food was cold and the side parts were very small. Wish we had larger side parts n the meat was least warm. The service was great. The cashier told us the menu and the various elections we had. That helped a lot to be there.

I ordered a pulled pork sandwich. It was about 3/10 on a scale of 10. I?ve been to lots of BBQ places and felt like it?s a pretty hard thing to mess up. The amount of bbq sauce mixed was almost making me gag. Normally I?m scraping the meat that falls out and eating it. This was the opposite. I was actually pulling meat off because I couldn?t eat anymore. Nice people. Clean place. Otherwise maybe 2 stars. I won?t be back.

Bland food and really not what I was expecting since its rated at almost 5 stars. Beans are alright, mac n cheese was ok but the ribs I ordered, or the brisket I got was dry and flavorless. Bbq doesnt need a whole jar of sauce to make it taste good, but oh well.
