Smashin Crab - San Antonio

If you're a fan of Cajun boils, this is the spot for you! There's no waiting, and you can even call ahead if you'd like. The food was outstanding, and our waitress, Clarissa, was attentive and provided honest recommendations. We will definitely be back!

The food was absolutely delicious! The spice level increases quickly in the different boils, so if you can't handle much heat, I recommend sticking with level 0 or 1. The crab legs, mussels, and shrimp were all fantastic!

We had a wonderful time and the food was good. We got the Trolley Stop it was plenty of food for 2 people, we actually had leftovers. I also got the Hurricane Flight, I enjoyed getting to try different drinks and see what I liked and didn't like. I'm only taking off a star because the table next to us accidentally dropped a glass that shattered everywhere and not a single waitress of manager came and cleaned it until about 5 minutes of waiting we got the hostess attention and she came and cleaned it. They all heard it fall but no body moved and the poor girl who dropped it couldn't move her feet cause of all the glass. Otherwise a great time.

Make sure to arrive hungry because the portion sizes are generous! I ordered the Shrimp Basket, and unlike many other places, it was actually quite filling. Even two hours after eating, I'm still feeling full! My family (three of us) shared the Crab Trap boil, and everyone was satisfied. The menu states it serves 2 to 4 people, and that is definitely accurate. We will definitely be coming back to this spot whenever we need our Cajun boil fix!

It was a big Smashin time, unbelievable experience for the first time, wait staff, and great tasting food!!! The restaurant was very clean and very presentable. Highly recommended to go try it out.
