Rosario's Mexican Cafe Y Cantina (southtown)

Loved this place, great food and much of it. The Tuesday special has a wonderful selection and will fill the belly. Loved the Nacho Bar and Salsa was spectacular. They had more choices of different salsa types and more side products. Visit this place two days in a row and would have done more, but they wanted something else. Will come back when I return to SNA.

Enjoy the atmosphere of food with family over lunch. Food, service, prices were all great! The parking lot was limited. Did the Lisa Special that was more than enough. I want to come back to my next trip!

We've been eating Rosario for years. We live about an hour north of San Antonio, but at any time we go to town? One of our most important go to places. They have a great ambience and if we have from the city visitors, this is a great place to take them. Your fire roasted salsa is a taste explosion. I usually get the enchiladas Mexicanas, but they all entice a good one. They have a good size bar area and they make excellent margaritas. You also have a good selection of beer on Hahn. The waiter is always friendly and the food usually comes quite fast, even if they are packed. It can get quite a lot to do so you expect to wait while the top hours are sitting.

Came here during lunch and glad they have so much space to sit. The service of our waitress Carmen was great, dear, how friendly and easy to go she was. The food was delicious and you can really taste the authenticity. Chips and salsa are definitely to buy.

Absolutely delightful! For those visiting from out of town, keep in mind that the chips and salsa are not complimentary, but trust me, the food is worth it. You'll spend less here than on the River Walk, and the quality is far superior. Be sure to try the Cascabel Tacos—you won’t regret it! The pork is incredibly tender, and the flavor is truly exceptional.
