Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - San Antonio

I waited 20 minutes for a three-piece tender with mac and cheese, only to be informed that they had run out of mac. They tried to offer me a substitute, but I insisted that wasn't what I had paid for. They told me I would have to wait even longer for my original order. I'm tired of settling for less, so I'm sticking it out. The manager was yelling, and there was a staff member wandering around in the back who appeared to be under the influence. Overall, it looked like the management wasn't properly trained. It's really disappointing.

I ordered through the drive-thru and was instructed to pull forward so they could bring my food out to me. After waiting for 15 minutes, I went inside and was informed that my order was still being worked on. There were two other people ahead of me facing the same issue. After an additional 20 minutes, I finally received my food, and the employee apologized for the delay. I also noticed that the air conditioning wasn't on during my visit.

I've had a really disappointing experience at this restaurant. The managers and cashiers were rude, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. They seriously need to retrain their staff. It's not worth the money spent here, and honestly, it's some of the worst customer service I've ever encountered. Shaking my head!

The food is always good as long as they have it or you don't have to wait for it. I go here often for lunch. The strawberry lemonade machine wasn't working for a few weeks. You would think they would put a sign out that they were out. No just let you keep asking for and the machine isn't working. Put up a sign already. Then no more pies. Constantly out of them. Then you have to pull over to the side for chicken. Another time the ATM machine was out and it was cash only. You wouldn't know that until you've been in a line behind 7 cars and you get to the front and surprise nothing is working. The staff is pretty nice but I guess I would say the service there is not becoming at all. It's ghetto to be exact! I asked for 3 wings today at first the didn't have any, when I got to the window another person said she didn't know how longs it would take to cook them. I said you have no idea ‍ next think you know she said she had 3 wings with a hard ass biscuit that I didn't ask For. Just closed down already.

Placed a simple order for spicy chicken Sandwich combo and popcorn shrimp. order Sweet tea and felt like I was rushed off the intercom. Once I got to the window and paid with cash and was told to pull up to the trash can. Usually they give you the drink so I waited a second thinking she would hand it to me, then I would pull up. She never gave me a drink but simply told me to pull up to the trash can again. After waiting in the Texas heat a 6 or 7 min I finally was brought my food. I was so ready to be home that it never hit me that I didn't even get my drink. I also wasn't given a receipt to even call my order number in. All in all not a great experience.
