Pete's Tako House - San Antonio

Food is good, service was a bit abrupt, but attentive. Glad we visited, but will never go back if we must pay for parking. Parking: Unless you’re visiting or working in the area, you must pay for parking. Only my opinion, that’s enough reason not to go back.

Food is really bland and parking suck you have to pay for parking even if they tell you it's free. 50.00 dollar fine. Same your money go else where.

Great service and friendly waiters. The chilaquiles were delicious, with great spicy salsa.

Really disappointing. We honestly should have politely just paid for our drinks when the chips and salsa were brought out. That was the first sign. The chips were old or overdone. They were SO hard. Salsa was okay. We ordered breakfast tacos, and they were also a disappointment. The bacon was overcooked and hard like jerky. The country sausage looked and tasted like hotdogs. The two stars are just because our waitress was very nice and service was good. The food was just not that great.

Reading the reviews I thought the food was going to impress. Unfortunately the food was not like many on here have described. The good: the service is super friendly and quick. The bad: the food is flavorless, flour tor I processed flavor (think packed processed flour tortillas). The best part of the puffy tacos was the shell, the ground beef in the tacos wt greasy and under seasoned. The “chilaquiles” were very very untraditional, covered with yellow cheese, dry and flavorless. I would not recommend this place to a friend.
