Peng's Chinatown Chinese - San Antonio

I have YET to try something from here and be unhappy. The egg drop soup is AMAZING, the curry chicken is flavorful, the General Tso's/Chow's is great (I like mine extra EXTRA spicy), the Happy Family is delicious, and ALL the portions leave you full and taking home leftovers. Also, the curry has a subtle spice that creeps up on you. This is my FAVORITE Chinese Take-Away in all of San Antonio, and I've been here for 15 years! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Awesome portions, and very reasonably priced. Oh, be sure to try their crab rangoons!

Pengs Chinatown has always been a favorite of mine since the early 90s. Through the years we become friends with the owners, Jenny, Mary, and their family. The food has always been deliciously consistent and reasonably priced. The service is always point with both attentiveness and friendliness. It's great to see how many loyal and happy customers Chinatown has had through the years. Highly recommended!

Came for Dinner. Clean restaurant, Clean restroom. Lots of space. Reasonable prices. Friendly service. Handicap friendly. Very popular. No drive thru. Plenty of parking. Take out; yes. Wife loves the place and food.(that's rare) thank you for your service. See you soon.

Food is always FRESH!! Service is on top of it. Atmosphere nice and smells clean. Dinner specials are BIG portions!! My picky 3 year old loves their sweet and sour chicken sauce on side

OMG while on vacation did a lot of research to see which was the best. We found it! Dinner combination $12.00 or so is a large portion 2 people could share!! Food was hot, arrived quickly and the staff was great! You needed something, boom they were there. If we're ever back in SA we'll visit again! Thanks Pengs
